@markwyner can't help you with ham radio Mark but I am slowly getting into the and networks which don't require licences. Trying to understand and build LoRa networks is kinda fun too.

Connected the LilyGo LoRa32 board to the app of an old phone. Now to get a second and then start testing the range it can achieve.
